Riccardo Bonsi was born in Alessandria (Italy) on 24/05/1966.
Married since 1997 with Silvia, the couple has a son, Raffaele, born in 1998.
Financial consultant, he specializes in ethical finance and psycho-finance, adapting behavioral finance to the productive development of companies and to project financing.
Historian and essayist of international fame, he wrote several books and essays, also translated into English and French.
In 1984 he graduated from the “G. Plana “of Alessandria, achieving classical maturity (high school diploma).
In 1988 he became a member of the “Accademia Italiana per lo Sviluppo Economico e Sociale – A.I.S.E.S.”.
In the same year he became part of the “Sovereign Order of Saint John of Jerusalem – Federation of the Autonomous Priories – Knights of Malta”.
In 1990 he received the International “Ercole d’Oro” Award and in the same year he received the Certificate of Merit of the “Seoul University”, South Korea.
In 1991 he became Bailiff of Embassy of the “Sovereign Order of Saint John of Jerusalem – Federation of the Autonomous Priories – Knights of Malta”.
Passionate about psychology, in 1992 he released his first book “Sigmund Freud and the birth of psychoanalysis“.
In the same year he received degree H.C. in Psychological Sciences from the “Universitas Internationalis Studiorum Superiorum Pro Deo” of Albany, NY – U.S.A. (today “Pro Deo State University” based in Sarasota, FL – U.S.A.), presenting the experimental thesis entitled “Personalized psychotherapy“.
Also in 1992 he became a member of the “C.E.J. – Communauté Européenne des Journalistes” and is awarded the honor of Knight Commander of the European work of the “Ordre International des Chevaliers de l’Etoile de la Paix”.
In 1993 he was elected Honorary Representative in Italy of the “Ecumenical World Patriarchate – Holy Apostolic Orthodox and Catholic Churches of U.S.A” and became part of “V.E.O.S.P.S.S. – Pauperes Commilitones Christi Templique Salomonis”, the glorious Order of the Templars.
In the same year he received the nomination as Knight of the “Ordre Souverain de Chypre”.
In 1994 he was appointed head of public relations for “Italia Impresa”, an association for the promotion of small and medium-sized businesses.
In the same year he was appointed Senator H.C. of “Congress and Senate of Ethnic Group Affairs of the United States of America”.
Also in 1994 he was nominated Knight of Merit of the “Serenissimus Equestris Ordinis Militaris et Nobiliaris Sanctissimae Trinitatis”.
In 1995 he received the nomination as Knight of Magistral Grace of the “Ordre Souverain Militaire Dynasties Des Chevaliers De la Croix De Constantinople”.
In 1996 he was nominated Knight of Grace of the “Ordre Supreme Militaire Imperial Dynastique Byzantin Orthodoxe des Chevaliers Angéliques and Dorés de Saint Constantin the Grand Dit Constantinien de Saint Georges” and, also in the same year, Ambassador at Large of the “Royal Imperial House de Vigo Aleramico Paleologo of Constantinople “.
In 1998 his book “I.H.S.V. – In Hoc Signo Vinces “, on the history of the Imperial and Royal House de Vigo Aleramico Paleologo.
In 2000 he was appointed Prime Minister with responsibility for Foreign Affairs of the “Government of the Holy Eastern Roman Empire in Exile” and, in the same year, published his book “Aristotle, the philosopher of immanence“.

2013 is the year of his first major work of international success, “Veritas Vos Liberabit – Secrets of the Knights of the Temple between History, Legend and Myth” and, in the same year, published the essay “The Cathars and Templars: so far away, so close “.
In 2013 he was elected Grand Prior of “V.E.O.S.P.S.S. – Pauperes Commilitones Christi Templique Salomonis “, the highest international office of the Order, a position he still holds today.
In 2014 he released his second major international publishing success, “Sub Hoc Signo Voluntas Dei – History of a Timeless Order“, always on the Templars, and in the same year he wrote the essay “The historical truth about Christopher Columbus“.
In 2015 he was elected President of the “Istituto per lo Studio e la Promozione dell’Arte e della Cultura – I.S.P.A.C.”, a position he still holds.

After working as a real estate consultant, he has held executive and consultancy positions for companies of international importance .
In 2018 the Regency Council of the Templar Nation elected him as the first President of the Nation with responsibility for the Department of Defense and the Department of Justice.
