AMBASSADOR EXTRAORDINARY AND PLENIPOTENTIARY FOR KINGDOM OF BELGIUM AND FOR EUROPEAN UNION
H.E. RENÉ PAUL YVON DUCRET
René Paul Yvon Ducret was born in Mézières-sur-Oise (France) on January 4, 1953.
Married with five children, he has French and Congolese citizenship and lives in Brussels (Belgium).
In 1969, he received his Diploma from the Mauvernay Business School, while the following year he received the State Diploma in Accounting.
In 1972, he graduated in General Law, with mention, from the University of Bayonne (France).
In 1975, he was appointed Consular Delegate and member of the Bayonne Chamber of Commerce.
A lawyer by profession, since 1975 he has been the author of various legal and economic reforms, especially in France, especially on the judiciary and on the code of judicial organization.
As lawyer he has opened several law firms in France, Belgium, Spain and Switzerland.
In 1990, he received a degree, with mention, in Commercial Law from the Panthéon-Sorbonne University in Paris (France), also attending the course in Political Economy under the direction of Professor Louis Leretaille.
In 1991, René Ducret graduated in General University Studies, with mention, again from the Panthéon-Sorbonne University in Paris.
In 1993, he obtained a Master’s Degree in Human Rights, with mention, from the University of Lyon (France).
In 1994, he obtained a Masters degree with honors in Business and Economic Law from the Pierre Mendès University of Grenoble (France).
In 1998, he was appointed President of the Association of Magistrates of Special Jurisdictions.
Alongside as a consultant to as many as four French presidents and several African presidents, René Ducret, to help several isolated states, without natural resources and without industries, has published various economic recipes that will allow sixteen states to be among the first states for GDP worldwide.
In 2013, he founded a THINK-THANK, a laboratory of analysis, studies and research in economics, a real network of experts, ready to offer their expertise to African states free of charge.
In 2016, he founded WORCOP, the World Institute for Diversified Cooperation and Sustainable Development, dedicated to offering African countries economic and legal independence, becoming its President.
He also founded WOPEACE, the World Institute for Peace, Prevention and Resolution of Conflicts.
Both WORCOP and WOPEACE are based in Brussels, the world capital of diplomacy.
Expert in diplomacy, negotiation, mediation, communication and political, economic and commercial strategies, René Ducret, who became a citizen of the Templar Nation, on 5 November 2020 was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Templar Nation in the Kingdom of Belgium and was elected a member of the Council of Regency.
On November 9 he was also appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in the European Union.
