31-12-2018: End of year message of the President of the Templar Nation Riccardo Bonsi

Dear citizens of the Templar Nation, 2018 is about to end and a new year is coming.

I wish first of all to greet all the Templar people who are in various parts of the world, a people made of proud and tenacious persons who, while fully respecting the laws of the state in which they live, never forget their origins, their ideals, their culture.

Belonging to the Nation Templar means to make one’s own those values that characterize the Templar identity, an identity and a centuries-old tradition that each of us carries in his DNA.

This year has been an exceptional year, in some ways unique: we celebrated the 900th anniversary of the Order of the Pauperes Commilitones Christi Templique Salomonis and, after years of study and intense work, we have finally founded the Templar Nation, a true Nation that has the purpose of gathering the Templar people.

When in 2015 thousands of people invested us in the task of gathering the Templar people into an institutional structure, it seemed to us to have to climb a steep and insidious mountain.

But armed with courage and with the help of our Lord Jesus Christ, we began to study, consult, listen, work and, in the end, not without difficulty, we arrived at the top of the summit.

Thus the Templar Nation was born, where all those who call themselves Templars can find a home, a nation ready to welcome, love and help its people.

All of this was possible thanks to a group of Brothers and Sisters who worked tirelessly, the members of the Regency Council.

Today the Templar Nation is operative and works to protect its people.

The new year that is about to open will open the Templar Nation to the whole world.

Today we are a minority and in consideration of all that we have had to suffer over the centuries, from persecutions to a real attempt to “damnatio memoriae”, we are a minority to be protected.

We exist, we have continued our history uninterruptedly from 1118 until today and intend to continue our existence united in a Nation.

The motto of our nation is “Usque ad Finem”, until the end, because a Templar never gives up and always fights with strength and tenacity until the end.

In the next year we will continue the census of our beloved people, we will open new institutions in the Nation and we will continue international political activity.

Dear citizens I wish you all a peaceful and radiant 2019, be determined, proud, always go head-on and never give up, because you are the Templars!
