“Dear fellow citizens of the Templar Nation, we have spent a very troubled year.
The pandemic caused by Covid-19 has completely changed our life habits and created great economic problems.
All these concerns have created in all of us a strong sense of frustration, insecurity and the fear of not being able to raise our heads, the fear that everything will never go back to the way it was before.
Now we hope for vaccines, but the road is still long and certainly 2021 will be dominated by uncertainties.
But we must not fall down, we must continue to fight, we must try to lead a life as normal as possible.
Above all, we must look to the future with optimism.
Our Nation has obviously also suffered from the problems related to the pandemic, but in spite of everything we have been able to carry out our activity, in compliance with the Laws of the various States.
We have continued to bring our citizens together, giving them citizenship.
We have appointed the new Minister of Development and Tourism, the entrepreneur of Italian origin Luca Da Fre, the new Minister of Health, the doctor of French origin Eric Oquinarena, and the new Minister of Defense, the former military commander of Belgian origin Albert Cordier.
We have implemented diplomatic relations with important states and institutions, such as Armenia, Palestine, Brazil, United Kingdom, Democratic Republic of Congo, SAARC countries (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka), Belgium and the European Union.
We have also entered into a cooperation agreement with the Royal House Sefwi Obeng-Mim of Ghana.
In August, the Order of Merit of the Templar Nation, the Order of the Star of Peace, was established.
On the foreign policy front, we have dealt with the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh, which saw Armenia and Azerbaijan opposing each other, intervening with aid for displaced Armenian children.
Finally, this year we addressed the pandemic from Covid-19 always informing our citizens about scientific developments and how to protect and supporting various international initiatives with the delivery of health protection material.
We hope that the New Year will be happier than the year that is about to end and that there will finally be the much-desired economic recovery.
It will not be easy, but with tenacious, coherent and careful work we will produce concrete results.
It will be an in-depth work, which will require expertise, effort and commitment.
The watchword for 2021 will be one: hope.
We will continue to relate to everyone, without prejudice, but firm and decisive in the protection of our identity.
We are all proud to be citizens of the Templar Nation, a nation that is placed under the protection and will of God.
Above all, we will continue to implement our “international intervention plan”, which includes the fight against poverty, support for developing countries, sustainability and eco-compatibility and international peace plans.
Finally, we will continue to pursue our dream: a territory, in order to give a homeland to our people.
Of course, for now it is a dream, but dreams and fairy tales can become reality and, therefore, we must not be afraid to manifest our goals.
We will commit ourselves with all our might and always act in the supreme interest of our beloved nation, without hesitation or uncertainty.
We must remain united, because only with unity will we be able to achieve this great project.
In conclusion, I wish all of you, dear fellow citizens of the Templar Nation, my best wishes for a happy and serene New Year, wherever you are“.
