24/10/2020: Archbishop Pierbattista Pizzaballa appointed Patriarch of Jerusalem of the Latins, the congratulations of our Ambassador to Palestine Al-Husseini
The Ambassador of the Templar Nation in Palestine, H.E. Adeeb Jawad Joudeh Al-Husseini, keeper of the keys of the Holy Sepulcher and bearer of the seals of the Holy Tomb in Jerusalem, officially congratulated Archbishop Pierbattista Pizzaballa on his new appointment as Patriarch of Jerusalem of the Latins.
Appointed on 24 June 2016 by Pope Francis as Apostolic Administrator of the vacant seat of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem of the Latins, until the appointment of a new Patriarch, Msgr. Pizzaballa received today the official appointment as Patriarch.
Archbishop Pizzaballa, Pro-Grand Prior of the public Catholic association of faithful “Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem”, replaces the Jordanian Catholic Patriarch Fouad Boutros Ibrahim Twal.
Ambassador Al-Husseini has always worked with excellent results with the Catholic Patriarchate of Jerusalem for the maintenance of peace in Palestine.
