21/10/2020: Official meeting between President Bonsi and Minister of Health Oquinarena, on the table Covid-19 and the protection of citizens
Today Minister Eric Oquinarena, head of the Department of Health, officially met with President Bonsi.
The meeting focused on the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus pandemic and the precautions to be taken in this new wave of infections.
Minister Oquinarena announced that a recent Italian study has shown that the constant use of masks and the rigorous maintenance of distances has decreased the viral load of Covid-19 by 1000 times.
The study was conducted by the IRCCS Sacro Cuore Don Calabria Hospital in Negrar di Valpolicella, in the province of Verona (Italy), and published in the international journal “Clinical Microbiology and Infection”.
“After evaluating any proposals on how to stem the coronavirus – the Minister of Health Oquinarena communicated -, in agreement with the President, we came to the conclusion to suggest to the citizens of the Templar Nation, while respecting the rules in force in the various States, to implement the following precautions:
– always wear, except in your own home and only in the presence of your cohabitants, the FFP2 or FFP3 type mask (the only truly effective).
– wash and disinfect your hands frequently.
– avoid any kind of gathering by keeping an interpersonal distance of at least one meter.
Only with these precautions will it be possible to block the coronavirus and bring down its viral load”.
