On April 20, 2019, the President of the Templar Nation sent a letter of condolence to the President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron for the tragic events of the fire of the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris.
In the letter, President Bonsi expressed his condolences and the closeness of the Templar Nation to the French people.
Today, 15 May, the Chief of Cabinet of the President of the French Republic, Mr. François-Xavier Lauch, has officially written to President Bonsi.
A very cordial letter, in which the President retraced the tragic events of April 15th and highlighted the great solidarity of people worldwide to rebuild this great Gothic monument, a world heritage site.
In the letter, President Macron thanked President Bonsi for the message sent and assured that every effort will be made to restore the Cathedral of Notre-Dame as soon as possible.
President Macron also highlighted the efforts made by the Fire Brigades of Paris and Ile-de-France, real heroes.
“I wish all of you, dear fellow citizens of the Templar Nation, my best wishes for a happy and serene New Year, wherever you are”.
