13/02/2020: Today is World Radio Day and Radio Monte Carlo, Radio NT and RGS remember our Minister of Foreign Affairs
Like every year, February 13 is the World Radio Day.
World Radio Day, promoted by UNESCO, serves to remind the importance of radio which, despite technological progress and the advent of the web, remains the most popular media in the world.
And speaking of World Radio Day, it is mandatory to speak of a person who created modern radio, inventing a new way of being a radio speaker, the legendary Awana Gana.
This very famous character is today the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Templar Nation.
Antonio Awana Gana Costantini Picardi was born in Venice in 1949.
In 1972 he joined Radio Monte Carlo as a speaker and stayed there for 20 years.
Today, also Radio Monte Carlo, Radio NT (Radio Templar Nation) and RGS Radio (Radio Green Stage) remembered the great Awana Gana and his innovative way of doing radio.
Awana Gana is not only a radio speaker: he is also a musician, singer and television presenter.
But above all today he is our Minister of Foreign Affairs.
