11/12/2019: At the charity auction “The Christmas trees of Action Innocence Monaco” the Templar Nation donated “The Templar Tree”
The non-profit association “Action Innocence Monaco”, chaired by Louisette Lévy-Soussan Azzoaglio, organized, as every year, the charity auction “The Christmas trees of Action Innocence Monaco”.
“Action Innocence Monaco” deals with informing and raising awareness among young people, parents and institutions about the risks and abuses connected to the use of the Internet; the Association also deals with preventing and fighting child crime on the Internet.
This year the Templar Nation donated a Christmas tree called “The Templar Tree”.
The Christmas tree is in blown Murano glass with lampwork and pure gold; on the base is the name Nation Templar in 4 languages (Italian, English, French and Spanish).
The base also contains, as gifts, 2 Templar coins, coined for the 900 years of the Order of the Temple (1118-2018) and a patent red cross in Murano glass.
The tree was presented by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Nation, Antonio Awana Gana Costantini Picardi.
The evening was attended by numerous authorities and illustrious personalities, first of all H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, ruler of the small principality.
For the Templar Nation, in addition to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of the Economy, Valter Pizzoli, the Minister of Relations with Religions, Richard Tirole, the Minister of Environment, Stéphanie Lescouzère, as well as numerous citizens of the Nation were present.
A benefactor has been awarded the tree for 7,500.00 Euros, a result beyond all expectations.
“I was very satisfied” – affirmed the Minister of Foreign Affairs Costantini (who is very well known and appreciated in Monaco) – “I never thought our tree would reach such a high figure.
I am happy that the Templar Nation was able to help support the charitable activities of Action Innocence Monaco.
I would like to thank H.S.H. Prince Albert II for the hospitality granted to all the citizens of the Templar Nation present here and the President of the Association Louisette Lévy-Soussan Azzoaglio for allowing us to participate in this wonderful charity evening“.
