The Templar Nation has joined the team of “Phoenix” Project – Mission COVID-19.

What exactly is the “Phoenix” Project?

The Pauperes Commilitones Christi Templique Salomonis – VEOSPSS, Cistercian lay-monastic order (the famous Templars), present all over the world, following the pandemic triggered by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, decided to activate the “Phoenix” Project.

The “Phoenix” Project is activated whenever catastrophic events (earthquakes, tsunamis, pandemics, wars), that endanger the survival of mankind, occur in the world.

With the “Phoenix” Project, some worldwide procedures, which allow to support all those who are in serious difficulty following the catastrophic event, are activated.

This time, the “Phoenix Project” activated for the pandemic and was called the “COVID-19 Mission”.

All nations and international institutions that want to cooperate with each other under a single structured direction can join the “Phoenix” Project.

The Templar Nation has agreed to become a partner of the “Phoenix” Project by supporting, at this stage, the procurement and production of half-masks to support all those people who are constantly in contact with the coronavirus and are at risk of contagion.

A first supply of 500 FFP2 masks arrived thanks to the donation of the health supports of our Ambassador to Armenia, H.E. Vardan Balaian.

The fundraising that the Templar Nation has set up is continuing and this has allowed us to donate further masks.

Currently the “Phoenix” Project – Mission COVID-19 has concentrated aid in Italy, but is preparing new operations in other states.

To cope with the great demand, the Templar Order, in collaboration with the Templar Nation, the company Allover srl and ISPAC (new partners are being added) has decided to produce the masks on their own.

Healthcare donations have so far been made to:
– Municipality of Ventimiglia – Italy.
– ASL 1 Imperiese (Health company that brings together hospitals in the province of Imperia), Italy.
– Local Police of Camporosso – Italy.
– Civil Protection of the Municipality of Genoa – Italy.

“We must not give in, we must continue the COVID-19 Mission by donating and participating in this great support operation.” – says the President of the Templar Nation Riccardo Bonsi -.
